Dr. Ronald Pachon, an Electrophysiologist at Florida Heart Rhythm Specialist in Broward County,
Florida, specializes in treating cardiac arrhythmias through various procedures. His passion for
medicine began in Colombia, where he graduated with honors in 2003 and received multiple
scholarships for academic excellence.
In the U.S., Dr. Pachon dedicated 4,000 hours to volunteer work with the American Red Cross,
Receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award. His career includes roles as a monitor technician
at Mount Sinai Medical Center and a Chief medical resident at Hackensack Meridian Health.
He pursued post-doctoral research at Rutgers University, contributing to publications and teaching
students. Dr. Pachon furthered his training as a Cardiology fellow at Broward Health
Medical Center and completed his Electrophysiology training at the University of Miami.
Sudden cardiac death is a subject that greatly interest him, motivating his work in
Electrophysiology. Outside of medicine, he enjoys family time, sports, music, dancing, and traveling
to explore different cultures.
