Dr. Nayeri is originally from Upstate New York. He received his undergraduate degree in neurobiology and psychology from Cornell University. He attended medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University where he graduated cum laude and was inducted into the prestigious medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Yale University. After his residency training, Dr. Nayeri pursued his fellowship in Clinical Cardiology at the University of Buffalo. He moved to Philadelphia where he completed his subspecialty training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Thomas Jefferson University.
After completing his medical training, Dr. Nayeri moved to Syracuse, NY where he joined two large private practice cardiology groups. He provided subspecialty electrophysiology care, including consultations and procedures, on a large number of patients at the premiere hospital for cardiac care in the region. He also served as voluntary faculty at SUNY Upstate Medical University where he had the pleasure of teaching residents and fellows.
Dr. Nayeri is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Nayeri recently moved to South Florida with his wife and 1 year old son to become the newest member of Florida Hearth Rhythm Specialists, PLLC. His clinical interests include ablation of cardiac arrhythmias such as Atrial Fibrillation, as well as implantation and management of pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy. He currently holds privileges at 10 hospitals in Broward County and one in Dade County.
